Merry Christmas & Happy New Year...extra credit anyone???

Here is an extra credit opportunity for all classes. Make yourself very familiar with this format before you go see the movie & do the write up! The movie you are to review is revealed at the end of this post. When you begin your movie review, make your own "trailer." If you liked the movie, then your trailer should make people want to see it; but if you didn't like it, the trailer should be something that shows why you didn't like it. Don't explain why you liked it or didn't like it; make the reader like or not like the movie by what you describe. Well here we are! Our last week of school for 2007. There will be a post at the end of the week with an extra credit assignment that all students have the opportunity to do over the break. In the mean time, here's what is going on this week: US= Chapter 6 & 7 Homework Packets are due this week (Wednesday for 6th period & Thursday for 1st, 3rd, & 5th periods). Don't forget that your test is that day also! PacRim/IR= We are moving on this week & will be starting our mini-unit on Disease. This week's topics are TB & Malaria. There may be a worksheet due on Wednesday (it depends on how much we get done in class on Monday).

Not much time left before break... US= You have an extra credit opportunity this week...a Jazz Age Journal Assignment was given out in class (it is due Friday 12/14 for 1st, 3rd, & 5 th periods and Monday 12/17 for 6 th period). Don't forget...your Chapter 6 & 7 Homework Packet is due next week! PacRim /IR= You will have a Quest on Hunger & Poverty this Thursday!

PEER COURT is this Tuesday...Extra Credit for attending & doing the write-up as described in the previous post. US= New Homework Packet assignements will be handed out this week for Chapters 6 & 7...they are due on 12/19 & 12/20. PacRim/IR= You have 2 itmes due Monday...your map of North Africa & the Middle East and the UN Agencies worksheet. You will have you North Africa & Middle East Map Test on Friday (12/7).
