We all have a day off on Tuesday in honor of Veterans Day. Far too often I think we all just get wrapped up in the idea that we have a day off, that we never take the time to appreciate why we have that day off. Please take a moment or two to stop and appreciate the day off and learn why we have Veterans Day by visiting the following sites: Information from the Department of Veterans Affairs , a brief timeline , and more Veterans Day info . US= You have a Chapter 4 Quiz in class this week...did you read the chapter yet? You should be working on your homework packet (due next week) as well as your Tribal Cube (also due next week). PacRim/IR= We will continue our look at Poverty & Hunger this week. You have a map test on the Northern(ish) Half of Africa on Friday...don't forget to study! Just for fun... Homecoming Dance 2008!
