This Week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start A  day Tuesday –   B day  Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day (Back to School Night) Friday– Minimum A day ALL Classes...check the "Peer Court" link on the home page for an Extra Credit opportunity coming up next week. U.S. History=   The Chapter 1 Test is on Monday, 9/24 (odd periods) & Tuesday, 9/25 (even periods)...your comp book with completed timeline & study guide are due on your test day.  Look at last week's post for more review items. Comp books will be returned as soon as possible, but it may not be until the end of this week or even early next week. By early next week you will receive your Chapter 2 Study Guide and Civil War Map they should be completed in your comp book & are due on your test day...(10/12 & 10/15).  You can start reading Chapter 2 because you are accountable for what is in the textbook in addition to what we cover in class (they parallel each other). This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start  B day Tuesday – A day Wednesday–  B day Thursday – Extended Lunch A day  (for Club Rush) Friday– B day ALL Classes...check the "Peer Court" link on the home page for an Extra Credit opportunity coming up next week. U.S. History=   I should have seen ALL your signed forms by now! Your  Chapter 1 Study Guide and "Events Leading to the American Revolution" Timeline are due Monday, 9/24 (for A day classes) & Tuesday, 9/25 (for B day classes).  These items MUST be completed in your composition book! STUDY GUIDES ARE ALWAYS DUE ON TEST DAY! WE HAVE A TEST ON 9/24 & 9/25. Be reading Chapter 1 in the textbook because the test is coming up quick...you are accountable for what is in the textbook as well as what we cover in class. This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start  A day Tuesday – B day Wednesday–   A day Thursday– B day Friday–  A day U.S. History=   Please bring your signed forms (Syllabus & Academic Honesty Policy) and your 100-page composition book to class this week.  Everyone needs to bring their composition book to class on Wednesday & Thursday this week...if you don't have one, see me ASAP! There will be a U.S. Map Quiz on Wednesday, 9/12 for  odd  periods & Thursday, 9/13 for e ven  periods; check your school loop email for helpful links sent to you.  Also, this week you will receive a Chapter 1 Study Guide (and those of you who did not get a textbook will be getting those this week too). This week's Schedule: Monday– Labor Day, no school Tuesday – A day Wednesday–  B day Thursday– A day Friday– B day U.S. History=   Before the end of the week you will receive a United States Map worksheet, please work on completing that.  There will be a U.S. Map Quiz next week (Wednesday, 9/12 for odd periods & Thursday, 9/13 for even periods). Here are a couple of links to online review to help you prepare for the Map Quiz: Use this link to work on matching  States & Capitals (based on a State's location...this will probably be most helpful for the quiz) .  Or you can use this link (it's penguins racing each other while matching states & capitals). We will be checking out textbooks and jumping in to some early American history this week.  Also, you will receive your class syllabus which should be shared with your parents and then once signed, kept in your binder to be checked.
