This week's schedule: Monday- Late Start A Day Tuesday- B Day Wednesday- A Day Thursday- B Day Friday- A Day U.S. History= If you missed the Chapter 4 Quiz, your ONLY make-up opportunity will be this Wednesday, 11/28 at lunch in our classroom. Your Annotated   Bibliography , assigned nearly 2 weeks ago, is due to be uploaded to turnitin.com by 8am on 11/26 or 11/27.  Step by step directions were emailed to you prior to the Thanksgiving Break. Please bring your comp book to class EVERYDAY this week! By the end of the week we will go over how to do your Outline for the Research  paper. Expect to receive  a new Study Guide for Chapters 5 & 6 later this week as well. This Study Guide is due on 12/6 & 12/7. ***4th period…please start setting aside/saving some of your money for Adopt-A-Family. A.P. Euro= Nicely done with the group projects! Those of you who were in class should have your Chapter 20 Study Guide pretty much complete after all

This week's schedule: Monday- Late Start A Day Tuesday- B Day Wednesday- No School Thursday- Thanksgiving (no school) Friday- No School U.S. History= Your Chapter 4 Study Guide (completed in your comp book) is due on Monday, 11/19 & Tuesday, 11/20. There will be a Chapter 4 Quiz in class that day. Your Annotated Bibliography is due after the Thanksgiving break (11/26 & 11/27). It must be uploaded to www.turnitin.com by 8:00am of the due date for you to receive credit. If you missed class the day that portion was explained, please check the "Annotated Bibliography" tab on the home page. This week's schedule: Monday– No School Veterans Day observed Tuesday – A day Wednesday– B day Thursday– A day Friday–  B Day U.S. History=   Your Chapter 4 Study guide (completed in your comp book) is due on 11/19 (for A day classes) and 11/20 (for B day classes) there will be a Chapter 4 Quiz in class that day. This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start B  day Tuesday – A day Wednesday– B day Thursday– A day Friday–  B day U.S. History=   You will be receiving instruction in class this week about researching for your paper & finding 5 appropriate articles to use in writing your paper. You will have 1 week to collect your 5 articles, after the time that is given  in class to get started. Your 5 articles are due 11/13 & 11/14. Beyond that you will have one additional week to complete the annotated bibliography. The procedures for doing both will be explained in class. Here is a link to an info sheet about the online databases available via the Newport Beach Public Library. We will be moving forward with topics related to the next Chapter including the Progressives, Child Labor, Expanding Rights for Women & Minority Groups, & Reformers in the White House.
