U.S. History=   Expect a Civil Rights Quiz in class on Thursday, 4/3 & Friday 4/4; hope you've been reading Chapter 13. AP Euro=   Our last Chapter Test is this week! Your Chapter 30 & 31 Study Guides are due on  Thursday, April 3rd (test day).       There will be a test review on Tuesday evening (2 days before the test). The time will be determined & confirmed in class on Tuesday.

U.S. History=   The second part of the 1950s & Cold War Test will be on 3/24 & 3/25. Be sure to bring your Study Guide back to class. Additionally this week there will be more information in regards to your rough drafts of the storyboard & script for the Film Project. (As of now there are still 23 people who are not in groups for this project that is worth 20% of your semester grade.) AP Euro=   Monday, 3/24, is the day you will be registering for Junior year. If you have not already turned in your registration form to me, you better bring it to class! You have your Chapter 30 study guide to be working on and y o u'll be receiving a study guide for Chapter 31 later this week; they are  both due on  Thursday, April 3rd.        Test corrections for the Chapter 28 & 29 exam are this week Monday-Friday at lunch or by appointment for other times during the school day. Please communicate with me in a timely manner so we can all maximize our use of the time this week.

U.S. History=   Your new Study Guide is due on Thursday, 3/20 for odd periods & Friday, 3/21 for even periods.  The completed commitment form (made available on 3/10 & 3/11) is due on or before Monday, March 17th (no matter what period you are in)! Your group will be informed by the end of the week which decade you have been assigned for the  Film Project.  AP Euro=  Good luck with the CAHSEE this week! A new study guide for Chapter 30 was passed out on our test day last week; it is due on Thursday, April 3rd. We'll discuss test corrections when you are all back in class on Thursday. My nod to a little Irish music...enjoy some Snow Patrol!

U.S. History=   Your new Study Guide is due on Thursday, 3/20 for odd periods & Friday, 3/21 for even periods. Also keep in mind that you need to be thinking about who you will work within your group of 4 or 5 for the 2nd Semester Film Project. The completed commitment form (made available on 3/10 & 3/11) is due on or before Monday, March 17th (no matter what period you are in)!  AP Euro=   Be sure to complete your journal entry on the Mein Kampf excerpt for class on Monday.  Please check your School Loop email for a correction to your Chapter 29 Study Guide. Your Chapter 28 & 29 Study Guides are due on our test day (Friday, 3/14). Reading Quiz on Tuesday, 3/4! A map showing the use of Daylight Saving Time (DST) in the World.

U.S. History=   Your World War II Study Guide & Maps are due this week (on your test day)...   Tuesday, 3/4/14 for odd periods & Wednesday, 3/5/14 for even periods. Be prepared for some map questions on your test! Later in the week we will be transitioning to the next unit & be introducing the 3rd Quarter project. Also you will have a 50s worksheet due in class on 3/6 & 3/7. AP Euro=  Chapter 28 Reading Quiz on Tuesday, 3/4! Test corrections this week, but not at lunchtime on Monday (you have through Friday, 3/7 to complete your test corrections). We will be continuing on in Chapter 28 this week, but please be working on your Chapter 28 Study Guide that is due on Friday, 3/14. Be sure to complete your journal entry on the Mein Kampf excerpt for Monday, 3/10.
