U.S. History=   Be sure to be reading Chapter 14 as we are covering Civil Rights topics in class (there may be a quiz on the topic before the end of the week). You have a 3rd Quarter Study Guide due on 4/15 (for odd periods) & 4/16 (for even periods), this study guide covers Chapter 10-14; please start working on this! The next step in the project will not be covered until AFTER Spring/Easter Break (you're welcome)...I apologize for the delay. AP Euro=   Please bring both your textbook & comp book to class on Monday, you will be given some time to work on your study guides in class & it is important that you make the best use of this time. Our last Chapter Test is this week & your Chapter 30 & 31 Study Guides are  due on  Friday, April 3rd (test day). D on't forget to be practicing the dance moves for Thursday's Lip Dub Video at school!

U.S. History=   The second part of the 1950s & Cold War Test will be on 3/23 & 3/24. Be sure to review the vocabulary in Chapters 12 & 13. Additionally this week there will be more information in regards to the 8 TED Talks each of you will be "adopting" for the Second Semester Project (you'll know your Talks by the end of this week & you will receive directions for the next steps). AP Euro=   Tuesday, 3/24, is the day you will be registering for Junior year. Be sure to bring your completed Green Registration form (with all needed signatures) to class! You have your Chapter 30 study guide to be working on and y o u'll be receiving a study guide for Chapter 31 later this week; they are  both due on  Friday, April 3rd.

U.S. History=   Your Study Guide is due on Thursday, 3/19 for odd periods & Friday, 3/20 for even periods; the multiple choice portion of the test will take place that same day. ***Also you need to check your School Loop email for details regarding emailing in your list of TED Talks you would like to adopt for the 2nd Semester project (your lists will be accepted Wednesday, 3/18-Friday, 3/20). Those of you who do not submit a list are just asking me to pick for you , so don't complain! AP Euro=   Good luck with the CAHSEE this week! On Monday you turned in your Chapter 28 & 29 Study Guides and took the multiple choice portion of the test. On Wednesday you have the written portion. After that we will be diving in to the last two chapters. Expect a new study guide on Chapter 30; it is due on Friday, April 3rd.  A nod to the Irish with this band...the first 5 people to email at  kkirby@nmusd.us  me their first song on Grey's Anatomy will earn an extra credit point on

U.S. History=   Be sure that you are reading Chapter 12 from the textbook...based on that & what we have covered in class so far there will be a Cold War Quiz in class on Wed., 3/11 (for odd periods) & Thurs., 3/12 (for even periods). That is the same day your blue senior year registration form is due (you will be seeing your counselor that day if your form is complete to register for next year's classes).  Your new Study Guide is due on Thursday, 3/20 for odd periods & Friday, 3/21 for even periods. Later this week your 3rd Quarter Project will be introduced. AP Euro=   Your Chapter 28 & 29 Study Guides are due on our test day (Monday, 3/16). There is a Chapter 29 Reading/Vocab Quiz on Thursday, 3/12! Do you know where this is? The first 5 people to email the correct answer to kkirby@nmusd.us  will earn a bonus point on their next quiz.

U.S. History=   This week we will be transitioning to the next unit & be introducing the 3rd Quarter project. Also you will have a 50s worksheet due in class on 3/5 & 3/6. AP Euro=  Chapter 28 Reading Quiz on Wednesday, 3/4! We will be continuing on in Chapter 28 this week, but please be following the reading schedule you were given.  The Chapter 28 & 29 study guides are due on Monday, 3/16.
