If you  know that you will miss class before the break, it is your responsibility to communicate with me and get what you will be missing ahead of time! This week's Schedule: Monday–  Late Start  B day Tuesday – A day Wednesday–   Extended Lunch B day Thursday– A Day  Friday– B day (abbreviated schedule...school is out at 1:05pm) U.S. History=   If you haven't already...you should start reading Chapter 9!  There will be a Chapter 9 Quiz on 12/17 & 12/18! There is a Chapter 9 Quiz in class on Tuesday, 12/17 (for A day classes) and Wednesday, 12/18 (for B day classes). You have the  Chapter 9 & 10 Study Guide  to be working on. I suggest you complete questions 1-20 to help yourself be prepared for the quiz (the Study Guide will not actually be due until 1/10 & 1/13, after the break when we complete Chapter 10).  The Jazz Age Journal Assignment will be checked in your comp book on Tuesday & Wednesday. This week's Schedule: Monday–  Late Start  A day Tuesday – B day Wednesday–   A day Thursday– Assembly B Day Schedule Friday– A day U.S. History=   If you haven't already...you should start reading Chapter 9!  There will be a Chapter 9 Quiz on 12/17 & 12/18! We will be continuing with the 1920s this week. The Chapter 9 & 10 Study Guide  will be passed in class this week. I suggest you complete questions 1-20 to help yourself be prepared for the quiz (the Study Guide will not actually be due until after the break when we complete Chapter 10).  Also, just a friendly reminder that the 2nd Quarter Project will be introduced next week before the break, so you can work on it over the break if you choose. A.P. Euro=   We will be wrapping up Chapter 22 this week & then jumping in to Chapter 23. Please keep up with your reading schedule AND be working on your study guides as you go along (not at the last minute). Your study guides are due on 12/19!

The Chapter 8 Study Guide (covering World War I) was given out in class on 11/22. That study guide is due in your comp book on 12/4 & 12/5. Here is a  link to the Ch. 8 Study Guide . Please see the information below for the history of Veteran's Day. U.S. History= Your Native American Tribal Projects are due this week on 11/4 & 11/5. You will be presenting in class & then must complete a Google form as your last step of the project. Remember to do a good job; this is worth 10 % of your semester grade. We will moving on later this week to continue covering the topics in Chapter 7 related to The Progressive Era & Expansionism. Please be reading Chapter 7 at home...what we cover in class is parallel to the textbook. A new Chapter 7 Study Guide will be given out before the week is over...don't wait to get started on it! This is due on 10/29 for A day classes & 10/30 for B day classes. Your comp books will be due that day & there will be a Quest (longer than a Quiz, but shorter than a Test) in class on 10/29 & 10/30. Your first project was introduced in class on 10/17 & 10/18. It is a group project and it is very important; it is worth 10% of your semester grade! This Week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start B day Tuesday–  A day  Wednesday– B day Thursday– A day (Homecoming Rally Schedule) Friday– Minimum A day U.S. History=   Be reading your textbook pages 46-89 at home because you are accountable for what is in the textbook in addition to what we cover in class (they parallel each other). By breaking it up in to chunks and starting now you won't be waiting until the night before the next test to do all of the work!  After Monday all class will have their composition books returned and new handouts for our next unit of study. Your next Study Guide covering Westward Expansion, the Civil War, & Reconstruction (to be completed in your comp book) and several other items (including the Civil War Map  linked here ) are due on your test day...(Odd periods are due 10/11 & even periods are due on 10/14). This Week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start A  day Tuesday –   B day  Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day (Back to School Night) Friday– Minimum A day U.S. History=   The Chapter 1 Test is on Monday, 9/23 (odd periods) & Tuesday, 9/24 (even periods)...your comp book with completed timeline & study guide are due on your test day.  Look at last week's post for more review items. Comp books will be returned as soon as possible, but it will probably be the end of this week or even early next week. By early next week you will receive your next Study Guide and Civil War Map they should be completed in your comp book & are due on your test day...(10/11 & 10/14).  You can start reading pages 46-89 at home because you are accountable for what is in the textbook in addition to what we cover in class (they parallel each other). Please keep those in your binder for the entire school year. Be reading Chapters 1 & 2 in your textbook at home! The test is coming up quick and you are accountable for what is in the textbook in addition to what we do in class. The Early America Study Guide and "Events Leading to the American Revolution" Timeline are due Monday, 9/23 (for A day classes) & Tuesday, 9/24 (for B day classes). These items must be completed in your composition book. STUDY GUIDES ARE ALWAYS DUE ON TEST DAY in your composition book.   WE HAVE A TEST ON 9/23 & 9/24.
