This week's schedule: Monday- Late Start A day Tuesday- B day Wednesday- A day Thursday-  Extended Lunch Schedule  B day Friday- A day Our class Field Trips to the Museum of Tolerance are coming up quick, t his Friday, 3/13 for A day classes & Monday, 3/16 for B day classes . All students are to meet at the bus lane (in the 15th Street parking lot) by 7:50am to get on the road at 8am and return around 3pm. U.S. History= Please be reading Chapter 14 & Chapter 15 from the textbook to supplement  what we are covering in class (as we are moving through these two chapters jumping back and forth between the two). You have a new study guide  to be working on that is due on 3/19 & 3/20. Expect a "Quest" that day (longer than a quiz, shorter than a test) covering both Chapters 14 & 15. This week's schedule: Monday- Late Start B Day Tuesday- A Day  Wednesday- B Day Thursday- Rally A Day Friday- B Day * ** College Knowledge Night is  THIS  Wednesday, 3/4 (6-8pm) Time changes this weekend...we SPRING forward one hour! U.S. History=  Your 3rd Quarter Project is due the end of this week (3/5 & 3/6)! Check this  link  for the details. Please start reading Chapter 14 from the textbook to supplement what we are covering in class. We will be studying both chapter 14 & 15 in this next unit. By the end of this week you will have a new study guide to be working on. Your  blue  colored registration form (neatly completed with signatures in ink) is due on 3/11& 3/12. You will be seeing your counselor that day  if your form is complete  to register for next year's classes. AP Euro=  The  Chapter 28  &  29 study guides  are due on Monday, 3/9. There will be a test that day! We will be starting our notes on Chapter 29 this week

This week's schedule: Monday- Late Start A Day Tuesday- B Day  Wednesday- A Day Thursday- B Day Friday- Extended Lunch A Day U.S. History= We will be wrapping up our World War II studies this week; please bring your comp book to class everyday this week. Be working on your World War II Study Guide; it is due (in your comp book ) on the day of your test, 3/1 & 3/4. Here is a link to a copy of that  Chapter 12 & 13 Study Guide  (World War II). There will be map questions on the test. Your 3rd Quarter Project was assigned on 2/13 & 2/14...there is a tab with all of the info on the homepage of this site linked here . Also, our classes will be visited by counselors this week with info about registration for your Senior Year. The completed blue registration form (with signatures...no forgeries) is due on March 11th & 12th. However, you must fill out the online portion (via Aeries by Friday, 3/6). Next Wednesday, 3/4 is College Knowledge Night at NHHS.

This Week's Schedule: Monday – Late Start B Day Tuesday – A  Day Wednesday – B Day Thursday– A  Day Friday–  B Day ***ALL CLASSES...please turn in your permission slip for the Museum of Tolerance Field Trip this week, before the break. ***If you know that you will not be in class at the end of the week, please make arrangements to take your test or quiz early BEFORE the break. U.S. History=   Please bring your comp book to class this week! Your World War II Maps are due on Thursday, 2/13 & Friday, 2/14. Use the small slip to make sure you complete all the tasks. (These were passed out in class last week.) There will be a World War II Quiz on Thursday, 2/13 & Friday, 2/14. Make sure you have gone through the materials & reviewed the vocabulary so you are prepared.  If you will be absent on that given day, please schedule a time to take the Quiz in advance. This Week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start  A Day Tuesday –   B Day Wednesday –   A Day Thursday– B  Day Friday–  A Day U.S. History= We will be starting the Second Semester by setting some goals for the semester (this is an assignment that you will receive points for). Please start reading Chapter 12 in your textbook; we will pick up our studies there.  You will have a World War II Map (passed out in class at the start of this week) due on 2/13 & 2/14. This week you will receive a new study guide covering the World War II (chapters 12 & 13). A digital copy will be posted here later this week.  A.P. Euro=   We will be starting the Second Semester by setting some goals for the semester (this is an assignment that you will receive points for). Expect a Second Semester Reading Schedule in class this week & you will also receive your Chapter 26 handouts. This Week's Schedule: Monday– 1st & 5th period Finals Tuesday – 2nd & 6th period Finals Wednesday –   3rd & 7th Finals Thursday– 4th & 8th period Finals Friday–  No School for students (Winter Formal in the evening at Knott's Berry Farm) ***The first Final of the day is 8:00-10:00 , then there is a 15 minute break and the second Final of the day is 10:20-12:2 0. U.S. History=   The  1st Semester Final covers Chapters 1-11 and will be comprised of multiple choice & matching questions. Your comp book is due the day of your final! A tab (RUSH Comp Book List) at the top of this website has a list of all the items that should be in your comp book.  Please check last week's post for links to the study guides. Many Kahoot review links were send via Remind at the end of last week to provide you with an additional study tool. Final grades   for the 1st Semester will be posted by 2:00 pm on Saturday, 2/1. This Week's Schedule: Monday-- No School, Martin Luther King Jr. Day Tuesday – A day Wednesday – B day Thursday– A day Friday–  B day FOR ALL CLASSES: ANY & ALL make-up work (tests & quizzes too) MUST be completed by Friday, 1/24! U.S. History=   We will wrap up our notes on the 1930s in class & begin reviewing for the 1st Semester Final. The completed  Chapter 11 Study Guide  & stamps in your comp book will be checked on Thursday, 1/23 & Friday, 1/23 this week. You will have your comp book to use as a study tool, but it is due on the day of your final. (See the photo below for a picture of the calendar on the board in class.) You will need your comp book with you in class on Thursday & Friday. On that day stamped work in your comp book will be counted. Remember that stamps are extra credit at the end of the semester. In addition to having stamps, your comp book should be an excellent tool to help you review for the final. Please
