For the week of 2/9-2/16

Well folks...we made it through the first week of the new semester. Do your best to stay on top of your school work!
1st period (IR) = your Asia Map (labeled & colored) is due Monday (2/9).
2nd & 5th periods (WH) = your Chapter 9.3 worksheet is due on Monday (5th period) or Tuesday (2nd period). Don't forget that the Chapter 9 Test is on Friday, 2/16.
3rd & 4th periods (US) = you should be working on your 20s& 30s Homework Packet. The 20s & 30s Quiz will be on Friday, 2/16. Also by Friday you or your team leader will have turned in your Video Documentary Commitment Form.

US= Story boards are due MONDAY (this was an extended deadline)! Your workbook pages (listed in the previous post) are due Tuesday, 5/27 (for 1st, 3rd, & 5th periods) and Wednesday, 5/28 (for 6th period)...you will also have a test that day on Chapters 17 & 18. PacRim/IR= Your questions sheet on HIV/AIDS is due Monday. We will have a Quest on Disease this week...plan on having it Wednesday. This Friday the agencies you voted to give grants to are back for the presentation of those grants; we will talk more about that in class this week.

This week's Schedule: Monday– Labor Day, no school Tuesday – A day Wednesday– Late Start B day Thursday– A day Friday– B day U.S. History=   Please work on completing the United States Map worksheet that was given out on class.  There will be a U.S. Map Quiz next week (Wednesday, 9/16 for odd periods & Thursday, 9/17 for even periods).  We will be checking out textbooks and jumping in to some early American history this week.  Be sure that you get a College Ruled Composition Book to have just for our class by next Monday (9/14).  A.P. Euro=  Please go over your syllabus, Academic Honesty Policy, and Reading Schedule forms with your parents, sign them, & bring them back to class. Please keep up with the reading schedule (you were given in class); your first study guide will be passed out on Thursday.  There will be a Quest  (longer than a quiz, but shorter than a test)  covering The Prince & Cand...

This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start A  day Tuesday – Assembly Schedule B day Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day Friday– A day U.S. History=   Your Research paper topic (not a single word or phrase, but a FOCUSED TOPIC) needs to be submitted via the Google form here: Research Paper Topic Form (due 10/22 & 10/23) You must login with your school id (example 654321@nmusd.us) Your Tribal Expert Group Task, started in class on Monday & Tuesday, is due this week on Wednesday & Thursday.  Here is the Tribal Expert Group assignment sheet for that task. It is to be completed on Google slides & shared with me. Groups will be drawn at random to share their presentation with the rest of the class starting on Wednesday & Thursday.
