The week of 3/5-3/9

Did you know that I get to fill out the first progress reports of the new semester at the end of this week??? Your grades will also be posted on-line by the end of the week (thank you for being patient).

1st period (International Relations): Great job with the fishbowl discussion we had on Monday about hunger (both international & domestic). Once you guys get going it is always interesting to see what you come up with; I was impressed with the level of the discussion!!!
***Remember to get the book "What Every American Should Know About the Rest of the World" to bring to class THIS Friday, March 9th (the author is M.L. Rossi and it is available for purchase at Borders for about $15...let me know if you need help getting the book!)

2nd & 5th periods (World History): Come prepared for a "different" experience in class on Wednesday & Thursday! Quiz on Friday covering vocabulary & what we have covered so far in our World War I unit.

3rd & 4th periods (U.S. History): You got your new homework packet assignment and it is due 3/26 & 3/27...don't put off your reading & notes! The skits in class were fun; the rest of this week we will be looking at specific causes relating to the start of WWII as well as influential leaders during the era...come prepared to do some group work!
