Back to School Night!

Monday is Back to School Night, be sure to remind your parents to come to school!

US= Your Chapter 1 test is on Monday, 9/24 (periods 1, 3, & 5) and Tuesday, 9/25 (period 6). Be sure to complete your Chapter 1 Homework Packet because it is due on your test day; no late work!

Pacific Rim/IR= There will be a quiz on Geography & Culture (from your notes, no maps this time) on Thursday, 9/27. You will be getting your Central America Map Quiz back on Tuesday & you will have a new map (South America) due on Thursday, 9/27.

US= Story boards are due MONDAY (this was an extended deadline)! Your workbook pages (listed in the previous post) are due Tuesday, 5/27 (for 1st, 3rd, & 5th periods) and Wednesday, 5/28 (for 6th period)...you will also have a test that day on Chapters 17 & 18. PacRim/IR= Your questions sheet on HIV/AIDS is due Monday. We will have a Quest on Disease this week...plan on having it Wednesday. This Friday the agencies you voted to give grants to are back for the presentation of those grants; we will talk more about that in class this week.

This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start  A day Tuesday – B day Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day Friday–  Rally A day U.S. History=   Please bring your signed forms (Syllabus & Academic Honesty Policy) and your 100-page composition book to class (on Monday, 9/12 for odd periods and Tuesday, 9/13 for even periods).  Everyone needs to bring their composition book to class on Wednesday & Thursday this week...if you don't have one, see me ASAP! This week's Schedule: Monday– Labor Day, no school Tuesday – A day Wednesday– Late Start B day Thursday– A day Friday– B day U.S. History=   Please work on completing the United States Map worksheet that was given out on class.  There will be a U.S. Map Quiz next week (Wednesday, 9/16 for odd periods & Thursday, 9/17 for even periods).  We will be checking out textbooks and jumping in to some early American history this week.  Be sure that you get a College Ruled Composition Book to have just for our class by next Monday (9/14).  A.P.
