U.S. History=
- Before the end of the week you will receive a United States Map worksheet, please work on completing that.
- There will be a U.S. Map Quiz next week (Wed., 9/11 for odd periods & Thurs., 9/12 for even periods). You will need to know states, capitals, & geographic features; the format will be covered in class.
- Here are a couple of links to online review options to help you prepare for the quiz:
- We will be checking out textbooks (they are brand new & should be kept at home as we will also have a set in class) and jumping in to some early American history this week.
- Also, you will receive a class syllabus & NHHS general policies form that you should hare with your parents. Once you & your parents have read through these forms you should sign them and keep them in your binder to be checked.
- Be sure that you get a College Ruled Composition Book to have just for our class (it should be an 80-100 page composition book).
- You will need to have this with you in class next Monday, 9/9 or Tuesday, 9/10.
AP Euro=
- Please go over your class syllabus, reading schedule, & NHHS school policies forms with your parents, sign them, & bring them back to class to be checked.
- Please keep up with the reading schedule that is passed out the first day of class (this form also contains all of our test dates for the 1st semester).
- There will be a Quest (longer than a quiz, but shorter than a test) covering The Prince & Candide on Friday, 9/13. Additionally, your essays on the two books are due to be turned in via www.turnitin.com by 11:59pm on Friday, 9/13.
- You do not need to bring a hard copy to class, just upload them to the site (they are two separate assignments).
- The "class id" and "enrollment key" are listed on your reading schedule.
