U.S. History=

Before the end of the week you will receive a United States Map worksheet, please work on completing that.
There will be a U.S. Map Quiz next week (Wed., 9/11 for odd periods & Thurs., 9/12 for even periods). You will need to know states, capitals, & geographic features; the format will be covered in class.

We will be checking out textbooks (they are brand new & should be kept at home as we will also have a set in class) and jumping in to some early American history this week.
Also, you will receive a class syllabus & NHHS general policies form that you should hare with your parents. Once you & your parents have read through these forms you should sign them and keep them in your binder to be checked.
Be sure that you get a College Ruled Composition Book to have just for our class (it should be an 80-100 page composition book).

AP Euro=

Please go over your class syllabus, reading schedule, & NHHS school policies forms with your parents, sign them, & bring them back to class to be checked.

Please keep up with the reading schedule that is passed out the first day of class (this form also contains all of our test dates for the 1st semester).

There will be a Quest (longer than a quiz, but shorter than a test) covering The Prince & Candide on Friday, 9/13. Additionally, your essays on the two books are due to be turned in via www.turnitin.com by 11:59pm on Friday, 9/13.

You do not need to bring a hard copy to class, just upload them to the site (they are two separate assignments).
The "class id" and "enrollment key" are listed on your reading schedule.
