EXTRA CREDIT ALERT!!!

Hi folks...an extra credit opportunity for all classes is to attend tomorrow evening's (October 2nd) Invisible Children Screening (different than what is being shown at the school assembly during the day) at 7pm in the main gym and turn in a write-up. Your write-up should include a paragraph on each of the following: What did you see? What did you learn? How did are you/ are you not changed by this? why? This write-up is due on or before Tuesday, October 9th.

Pac Rim/IR= Study for your South America Map test that is this Friday (October 5th)
US= Be working on your homework packets for Chapter 2!

This week's Schedule: Monday– Labor Day, no school Tuesday – A day Wednesday– Late Start B day Thursday– A day Friday– B day U.S. History=   Please work on completing the United States Map worksheet that was given out on class.  There will be a U.S. Map Quiz next week (Wednesday, 9/16 for odd periods & Thursday, 9/17 for even periods).  We will be checking out textbooks and jumping in to some early American history this week.  Be sure that you get a College Ruled Composition Book to have just for our class by next Monday (9/14).  A.P. This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start A  day Tuesday – Assembly Schedule B day Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day Friday– A day U.S. History=   Your Research paper topic (not a single word or phrase, but a FOCUSED TOPIC) needs to be submitted via the Google form here: Research Paper Topic Form (due 10/22 & 10/23) You must login with your school id (example 654321@nmusd.us) Your Tribal Expert Group Task, started in class on Monday & Tuesday, is due this week on Wednesday & Thursday.  Here is the Tribal Expert Group assignment sheet for that task.
