Well here we are almost at the end of April already! We've still got a lot going on, so be sure to keep up with your work!
***If you need to make up a test or quiz, remember that Wednesday's during the late start are your make up opportunities. Please arrive by 8:10 am to make up any work then.

US= Your workbook pages (Chapter 15 all 3 sections & Chapter 16 section 1-4) are due on Wednesday, 4/29 (for odd periods) and Thursday 4/30 (for even periods). There will also be a test on that given day. Be sure to be reading your textbook & go back through your notes to be prepared. Also your commitment forms for the final project of the semester are due Friday. Be sure to choose your groups wisely. This project makes up 12.5% of your grade!

PacRim/IR= We are wrapping up our unit on Poverty & Hunger this week. We will have a Quest on Thursday, 4/30. Also a new project will be introduced this week...it'll be interesting! P.S. Remember if you are attempting to take AP Euro or AP World that your essays & letters for those classes are due very soon!

This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start B  day Tuesday – A day Wednesday– B day Thursday– A day Friday–  B day U.S. History=   You will be receiving instruction in class this week about researching for your paper & finding 5 appropriate articles to use in writing your paper. You will have 1 week to collect your 5 articles, after the time that is given  in class to get started. Your 5 articles are due 11/13 & 11/14. Beyond that you will have one additional week to complete the annotated bibliography. The procedures for doing both will be explained in class. This Week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start A  day Tuesday –   B day  Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day (Back to School Night) Friday– Minimum A day U.S. History=   The Chapter 1 Test is on Monday, 9/23 (odd periods) & Tuesday, 9/24 (even periods)...your comp book with completed timeline & study guide are due on your test day.  Look at last week's post for more review items. Comp books will be returned as soon as possible, but it will probably be the end of this week or even early next week. By early next week you will receive your next Study Guide and Civil War Map they should be completed in your comp book & are due on your test day...(10/11 & 10/14).  You can start reading pages 46-89 at home because you are accountable for what is in the textbook in addition to what we cover in class (they parallel each other). This week's Schedule: Monday–  Late Start  A day Tuesday – B day Wednesday–   A day Thursday– Rally Schedule B day Friday– A day U.S. History=   2nd & 3rd periods: Please bring your composition book to class with you on Monday, 1/8 & Tuesday, 1/9.  Due on Wednesday, 1/10 & Thursday, 1/11 is the Chapter 7 & 8 Study Guide (that was given out the week of 12/11/17, here is a  link  to a digital copy; there are two pages). That too should be completed in your comp book & be prepared for a small test that day on those 2 chapters. Your New Deal Program PSA Group Project (turned in on a flash drive with your separate written reflection) is due 1/17 (for A Day classes) & 1/18 (for B Day classes) You will be given some time to work with your groups in class to "check in" & make sure everything is on track this week.
