US= Chapter 2 Test & Homework Packet scores will not be posted until the end of this week. There are still a significant number of students who need to make-up the test before I can pass things back & post all scores. There will be an extra credit opportunity given in class on Monday & Tuesday this week...it will be due the following class meeting...no exceptions!!! I have posted a template for your Native American Tribal Pamphlet on School Loop, you don't have to use the template, but is a tool to help you out. Remember that the project is due on Tues., 11/3 for even periods & Wed., 11/4 for odd periods. You received your new HW assignment last week; odd periods are due on Wed., 11/4 & even periods are due Thurs., 11/5 on the day it is due you will be taking the district 1st Quarter Summative US History Test. 

IR/PacRim= We are continuing with the Human Rights Unit & this week you will be receiving your 2nd project assignment of the 1st quarter. The project will be due on Wed., 11/4.

This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start B  day Tuesday – A day Wednesday– B day Thursday– A day Friday–  B day U.S. History=   You will be receiving instruction in class this week about researching for your paper & finding 5 appropriate articles to use in writing your paper. You will have 1 week to collect your 5 articles, after the time that is given  in class to get started. Your 5 articles are due 11/13 & 11/14. Beyond that you will have one additional week to complete the annotated bibliography. The procedures for doing both will be explained in class. This Week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start A  day Tuesday –   B day  Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day (Back to School Night) Friday– Minimum A day U.S. History=   The Chapter 1 Test is on Monday, 9/23 (odd periods) & Tuesday, 9/24 (even periods)...your comp book with completed timeline & study guide are due on your test day.  Look at last week's post for more review items. Comp books will be returned as soon as possible, but it will probably be the end of this week or even early next week. This week's Schedule: Monday–  Late Start  A day Tuesday – B day Wednesday–   A day Thursday– Rally Schedule B day Friday– A day U.S. History=   2nd & 3rd periods: Please bring your composition book to class with you on Monday, 1/8 & Tuesday, 1/9.  Due on Wednesday, 1/10 & Thursday, 1/11 is the Chapter 7 & 8 Study Guide (that was given out the week of 12/11/17, here is a  link  to a digital copy; there are two pages). That too should be completed in your comp book & be prepared for a small test that day on those 2 chapters. Your New Deal Program PSA Group Project (turned in on a flash drive with your separate written reflection) is due 1/17 (for A Day classes) & 1/18 (for B Day classes) You will be given some time to work with your groups in class to "check in" & make sure everything is on track this week.
