  • If you missed the Chapter 4 Quiz, your ONLY make-up opportunity will be this Wednesday, 11/28 at lunch in our classroom.
  • Your Annotated Bibliography, assigned nearly 2 weeks ago, is due to be uploaded to turnitin.com by 8am on 11/26 or 11/27. 
    • Step by step directions were emailed to you prior to the Thanksgiving Break.
  • Please bring your comp book to class EVERYDAY this week!
  • By the end of the week we will go over how to do your Outline for the Research paper.
  • Expect to receive a new Study Guide for Chapters 5 & 6 later this week as well.
    • This Study Guide is due on 12/6 & 12/7.
  • ***4th period…please start setting aside/saving some of your money for Adopt-A-Family.
A.P. Euro=
  • Nicely done with the group projects! Those of you who were in class should have your Chapter 20 Study Guide pretty much complete after all of the presentations.
  • There will be a Chapter 21 Vocabulary Quiz on Tuesday, 11/27!
  • Hopefully you took some time over the break to get started on the Chapter 21 Study Guide (it’s a jam packed chapter on the French Revolution & Napoleon). Here is a link to the Chapter 20 & 21 study guides.
  • The Chapter 20 & 21 exam is scheduled for Monday, 12/3...please be keeping up with the reading schedule!

Hello 2009!  I hope that you all enjoyed the break! Well here we are just a few weeks away from the end of the semester...be sure to stay on top of your work before finals!   US= Your extra credit assignment is due Wednesday, 1/7 (for odd periods) & Thursday, 1/8 (for even periods)...the assignment is posted on School Loop. Be sure to bring your "Graphing Indicators of the Great Depression" worksheet back to class, as we continue to learn about the 1930s and the Great Depression we will be using that sheet to answer some questions. We will not have a test on Chapters 8 & 9 before the final, but there will be a quiz on each of the  chapters. You should be ready for a quiz on Chapter 8 as early as the end of this week! Your homework is to do Cornell Notes for both chapters 8 & 9 and to complete workbook pages 68, 70, 72, 74, 76, 78, & 80...this is due Thursday, 1/22 (for odd periods) and Friday, 1/23 (for even periods). Well one more week before our Spring Break and here is what we have going on: US= We are working on Chapter 14 dealing with the Civil Rights Movement. Don't forget that you have workbook pages 117, 119, & 121 due this week (Thursday for 6th period & Friday for 1st, 3rd, & 5th periods). Also on that day you will take a Quest (longer than a quiz, but shorter than a test) on chapter 14 & the Civil Rights Movement. In terms of your project...I have made a concession, you may turn it in on the original due date given & receive 10 extra credit points (these points will go toward you project & are therefore worth more than "normal" extra credit points due to how the grades are weighted) or you may turn it in on Monday, April 14th before the end of lunch to receive full credit. This Civil Rights Historybook project will move quickly and be done by 3/31 & 4/1, so be sure to look at what you need to be accomplishing in the other parts of the project.  Please bring your composition book to class (if you didn't turn it in with your World War II work). You'll need it in class on Monday & Tuesday. You will have two reading excerpts (with 3 questions each) handed out in class on Monday & Tuesday to also complete in your composition book.
