This Week's Schedule:
Monday– 1st & 5th period Finals
Tuesday– 2nd & 6th period Finals
Wednesday–  3rd & 7th Finals
Thursday– 4th & 8th period Finals
Friday–  No School for students (Winter Formal in the evening at Knott's Berry Farm)

***The first Final of the day is 8:00-10:00 , then there is a 15 minute break and the second Final of the day is 10:20-12:20.


U.S. History= 
  • The 1st Semester Final covers Chapters 1-9 and will be comprised of multiple choice & matching questions.
  • Your comp book is due the day of your final! A tab (RUSH Comp Book List) at the top of this website has a list of all the items that should be in your comp book. 
    • Please have your Chapter 9 Study Guide completed (as it is due that day, here is a link to a copy of that).
  • Final grades for the 1st Semester will be posted by 2:00 pm on Saturday, 2/2.
A.P. Euro= 
  • Part 2 of your Final is on Tuesday, 1/29 from 8:00-10:00am.
    • 55 multiple choice questions
    • 3 SAQs
    • all modeled after an actual AP exam, except we are only including the material we have covered so far.
  • Please bring your comp book to class that day so they can finish being graded.
  • Final grades for the 1st Semester will be posted by 2:00 pm on Saturday, 2/2.

This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start B  day Tuesday – A day Wednesday– B day Thursday– A day Friday–  B day U.S. History=   You will be receiving instruction in class this week about researching for your paper & finding 5 appropriate articles to use in writing your paper. You will have 1 week to collect your 5 articles, after the time that is given  in class to get started. Your 5 articles are due 11/13 & 11/14. Beyond that you will have one additional week to complete the annotated bibliography. The procedures for doing both will be explained in class. This Week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start A  day Tuesday –   B day  Wednesday– A day Thursday– B day (Back to School Night) Friday– Minimum A day U.S. History=   The Chapter 1 Test is on Monday, 9/23 (odd periods) & Tuesday, 9/24 (even periods)...your comp book with completed timeline & study guide are due on your test day.  Look at last week's post for more review items. Comp books will be returned as soon as possible, but it will probably be the end of this week or even early next week. By early next week you will receive your next Study Guide and Civil War Map they should be completed in your comp book & are due on your test day...(10/11 & 10/14).  You can start reading pages 46-89 at home because you are accountable for what is in the textbook in addition to what we cover in class (they parallel each other). This week's Schedule: Monday–  Late Start  A day Tuesday – B day Wednesday–   A day Thursday– Rally Schedule B day Friday– A day U.S. History=   2nd & 3rd periods: Please bring your composition book to class with you on Monday, 1/8 & Tuesday, 1/9.  Due on Wednesday, 1/10 & Thursday, 1/11 is the Chapter 7 & 8 Study Guide (that was given out the week of 12/11/17, here is a  link  to a digital copy; there are two pages). That too should be completed in your comp book & be prepared for a small test that day on those 2 chapters. Your New Deal Program PSA Group Project (turned in on a flash drive with your separate written reflection) is due 1/17 (for A Day classes) & 1/18 (for B Day classes) You will be given some time to work with your groups in class to "check in" & make sure everything is on track this week.
