New units starting in all of my classes!

US= We are starting our 1950s & Cold War Unit. You have a worksheet due Friday, 3/18 (for odd periods) & Monday, 3/21 (for even periods). You will need to use your textbook (chapters 12 & 13 as well as outside resources to complete that! Reminder that Wednesday morning at 8:00 am is the time to make up missed tests this week!

Sociology= We are starting Unit 2 (Culture, Conformity, & Deviance). Read pages 81-91 and answer questions 1-3 on page 91 (this is due on Thursday, 3/17)...there is a quiz on Thursday too! Also, be sure that you are in communication with your group since the research project is due on Friday, 3/25! Reminder that Wednesday morning at 8:00 am is the time to make up missed tests this week!

This week's Schedule: Monday– Labor Day, no school Tuesday – A day Wednesday– Late Start B day Thursday– A day Friday– B day U.S. History=   Please work on completing the United States Map worksheet that was given out on class.  There will be a U.S. Map Quiz next week (Wednesday, 9/16 for odd periods & Thursday, 9/17 for even periods).  We will be checking out textbooks and jumping in to some early American history this week.  Be sure that you get a College Ruled Composition Book to have just for our class by next Monday (9/14).  A.P. This week's Schedule: Monday– Late Start B  day Tuesday – A day Wednesday– B day Thursday– A day Friday–  B day U.S. History=   You will be receiving instruction in class this week about researching for your paper & finding 5 appropriate articles to use in writing your paper. You will have 1 week to collect your 5 articles, after the time that is given  in class to get started. Your 5 articles are due 11/13 & 11/14. Beyond that you will have one additional week to complete the annotated bibliography. The procedures for doing both will be explained in class.
