“I shall know but one country. The ends I aim at shall be my country’s, my God’s and Truth’s. I was born an American; I live an American; I shall die an American.” -Daniel Webster

STAR/CST Testing this week!
  • Be sure you get a good night's rest before testing.
  • Eat breakfast before you come to school...no one wants to be the person who's stomach was growling during testing!
  • Read carefully and give your best effort...remember what I shared in class about the percentage correct you need to be in the "green zone". You CAN do it!
U.S. History= Your focus this week should be on finishing your project that makes up 20% of your semester grade! The group Film Project is due on Friday, May 31st...no exceptions! The final piece of the project is the Film Festival that will take place on Thursday, June 6th in Beek Hall from 6-8pm (more details to follow).

A.P. Euro= Your "Travel to a Moment in European History" Poster Project is due on Friday, May 31st. Please bring a color copy of your poster (8.5"x11") and your reflection on a seperate piece of paper to class on Friday. Be sure to read the tips on your assignment sheet and consider googling "vintage travel posters" for ideas about the "look" of your poster.
